Welcome to Island Bay Homestay! We live in an eleven year old Lockwood house, at the end of High Street in a very private section. Our land goes three quarters of the way up the hill and above that is Town Belt. Wonderful views, overlooking the Cook Strait with its Ferries, Cargo and Fishing boats on the move day and night. We see planes landing or taking off (depending on wind direction) but the airport is round a corner and we get no noise from it. We only let two of our rooms and each has its own private bathroom, just outside the bedroom door. TV in rooms. We have two lovely Moggies. A warm, comfortable smokefree home with warm clean comfortable beds and two warm owners who enjoy meeting people. We do our best to provide good, old fashioned Homestay, without charging the earth!
