From State Highway 1 or 2:
Take the Aotea Quay turnoff. (From the Ferry take the city exit.) Follow the main road which bears slightly to the left until you come to a T junction (Oriental Parade). Turn right into Kent Terrace and get in the right hand lane before going round the Basin Reserve (cricket ground) and in to Adelaide Road. Keep going straight, up the hill and the road becomes The Parade. Keep going until you reach the sea and then turn right into Beach Street. Left and left again into High Street and up the private road at the end.
From Wellington Airport:
Take the rear exit (past the cargo warehouses) and turn right. Follow the coast road for ten minutes and Beach Street is on the right.
